How did the project start?
Creative Partnerships approached us to bring to life their Film Project, aimed at schools. We developed the identity for the film and website, along with the website which had to be a platform for interaction with the pupils.
What options did you consider?
Flash elements were considered but we decided not to use them as most of the pupils accessing the website would be using low speed modems. We wanted the pupils to get straight into the website and get involved in the film project.
What help and expertise did you receive?
We worked closely with not only the client but the films makers to ensure we understood the narrative of the film and their vision, so that the website sat comfortably within the overall project.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
Translating a film into a website is never easy but we achieved a strong visual look which echoed the film footage.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The website has been well received in the schools involved and has encouraged interest not only in film but website development too!
What are your plans for the future?
The site will run beyond the projects lifespan as a reference tool for Creative Partnerships and Schools.
