How did the project start?
With a successful retail outlet in Sunderland, Jo came to onebestway to develop an online presence for the MacBaby boutique.
What options did you consider?
Initially Jo simply wanted a brochure website but after some development work we decided with Jo that an e-commerce solution would actually work much harder for MacBaby.
What help and expertise did you receive?
We developed a visual approach which mirrored the way the shop felt and worked closely with Jo to ensure the finished site would develop, grow and change as the site took off.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
Transferring a real world environment to a website is always a challenge. Making sure it helps to sell products increases the challenge, but we're always up for a challenge!
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The e-commerce site has taken off really well for Jo. She has received excellent feedback and impressive sales from the site from as far away as America.
What are your plans for the future?
To continually support the e-commerce website and ensure it is kept inline with the retail store.
