How did the project start?
Two entrepreneurs approached us with an idea to launch website that would allow people to stay in touch and informed when a loved one is in hospital. We were hooked.
What options did you consider?
Developing the right interface was key, with a clear easy to use feel. Working with our clients we explored a variety of possible solutions.
What help and expertise did you receive?
We developed the interface and structure of how the site would work, then we began work with a specialist CMS builder to ensure that our vision for the site would work once complete.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
We developed a greater understanding and empathy for people who were themselves, or had relatives, in hospital.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The site is being promoted in hospitals throughout England to raise awareness of it and increase uptake in its use.
What are your plans for the future?
As the users increase more utilities will be added to the site, allowing for greater user interaction and control.
