Dates: Oct 2007 to Dec 2007
How did the project start?
We were approached by Bob Arora (owner of Sachins) and Jam PR to develop a website that reflected the new interior/exterior redevelopment of the Punjabi restaurant. Initially we were recommended by another client.
What options did you consider?
Online special deals such as free bottles of wine, Valentines day specials. Membership schemes with incentives to sign up. A Fully flash based site to bring the restaurant up to date online was also considered.
What help and expertise did you receive?
We worked with Jam PR to develop an online strategy using content sourced by them. We also worked with Fluid Design (interior design) to ensure the shots used in the site suitably embodied the internal refit of the restaurant.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
The most challenging aspect of the project was aligning with all other agencies to make sure the communication idea was effectively portrayed...That Sachins Punjabi Cuisine was the best in the north east and their branding reflected this.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
It has helped reaffirm MAAD Ltd as a specialised interactive agency with the ability to produce work of a high standard.
The website is a good benchmark when showing new clients some of our online work.
What are your plans for the future?
After tens years in business we are planning to grow stronger and help develop projects that not only reflect the standard of the North East Digital business but define it.
