How did the project start?

Madventurer wanted to increase its online impact within the youth and student market and to bring the site into line with engaging with social networking sites. It also was looking to grow the number of trips it offered so needed a way of increasing the amount of content on its site whilst ensuring these were optimised well. A new site was the way forward.

What options did you consider?

We looked at a number of companies in the region and decided to try a different agency - Calm Asylum - to bring new ideas to the table.

What help and expertise did you receive?

Calm did a scoping session with the Mad UK team and prepared a comprehensive brief which we followed throughout the development of the new site.

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?

We learnt quickly that we had to slow down a little on the development in order to mistakes to be avoided later, even though we were eager to launch and let the world know about our new range of projects and adventures.

What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?

The new site is optimised extremely well into search engines and the news page means we can upload content and it appears within free listings on search engines very quickly. The site is easy to navigate round whilst it still keeps all the original dynamic and fun elements of the brand.

What are your plans for the future?

Add more content via the media centre which came with the site so we can progress up the search engine rankings and get more people to visit the site. Once they are there they love what they see and everyone's a winner!
