How did the project start?
Orange Bus were commissioned to create a new e-commerce website for Eleven and during the process we realised the team there had a vast knowledge of Vintage Levi's denim, something we could us to create a unique angle on the website.
What options did you consider?
We looked at various different ways of presenting the knowledge on the web, deciding in the end the use of video was much better than using text and images.
What help and expertise did you receive?
Orange Bus supported the team at Eleven throughout the filming process and have provided a platform to upload the videos to youtube, google video and iTunes amongst others.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
We decided the videos needed to be short enough to grab the attention, but long enough to provide the level of detail required for such a specialist area.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The videos help to show that Eleven is a quality shop offering specialist knowledge and advice, not just a warehouse offering cheap goods on the web.
What are your plans for the future?
We are discussing a further series of videos with Levis themselves, such has been the level of interest in the first two. They are also scheduled to be translated into Japanese to capitalise on their fascination with vintage denim.
