How did the project start?
This was a redesign in order to keep the site looking fresh and modern.
What options did you consider?
I considered installing a third party payment processor for the ordering system for speed but eventually decided to write a custom checkout system for ease of use and to keep the site flowing.
What help and expertise did you receive?

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
It was my first time working with whois information in php so I learned a fair bit about how all the information comes about. Another challenge was integrating paypal IPN using the sandbox testing area. There seems to be a lot of flaws in the sandbox testing area so I needed to code it right within the first few attempts since the only way I could really test was to do live transactions.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
It has improved the look of the overall site and enhanced the account management area for existing customers. It has also enabled me to keep track of every aspect of my business through a complex customer database management program working behind the scenes.
What are your plans for the future?
To hopefully work on more and more larger projects.
