How did the project start?
The idea was to create a website that would take away the stress of time needed for bands and musicians to go out and hand out demo CDs to venues in order to get gigs.
What options did you consider?
I considered charging for subscriptions at first but then decided to make it a free service in order to make a success of the site.
What help and expertise did you receive?
none
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
The biggest challenge was to get the first few members to sign up and get the ball rolling.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
The site has really taken off and has brought a lot of attention to the web development side of my business.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan on maintaining and improving this site and forwarding my website design business.
