How did the project start?

Penny from Michael Sehgal & Sons contacted us with the brief of designing and developing a site that fashion buyers could visit. The aim was to give potential customers a taste of the Michael Sehgal & Sons experience.

What options did you consider?

We looked at many different options, from flash splash pages to randomized background images.

What help and expertise did you receive?

Pitching the correct tone of voice was going to be tricky with this site so we researched heavily into competitors' websites to ensure that Michael Sehgal & Sons' site would offer something different.

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?

Understanding the target market was going to be key in the success of the site. The site had to reflect the fun and colourful side of young girls fashion whilst still appeal to the adult fashion buyers who would be the site's main audience.

What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?

It has allowed Michael Sehgal & Sons to market their company online by directing new buyers to the site. It gives them an online presence they previously didn't have.

What are your plans for the future?

In the future Michael Sehgal & Sons are looking to optimize the site in order to generate even more enquiries. They're also going to update backgrounds and mood boards on the site each season to give buyers the impetus to visit the site regularly.
