How did the project start?
Angelfysh were approached in May 2007 to optimise the current website of Quick Fence which wasn't to be found anywhere in the search engines.
What options did you consider?
Natural 'organic' website optimisation was the only consideration.
What help and expertise did you receive?
As Quickfence are based in Burnley, telephone and email conversations enabled me to understand their business and what needed to be achieved.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
The website was fairly graphics heavy with most of the text on the welcome page being a graphic. These graphics were replaced with text to enable the search engines to 'read' what Quick Fence was all about.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
In just under a week after optimisation, Quickfence had a number of first page listings in Google, a £17000 and a £2000 order as a direct result of angelfysh’s work.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue to help angelfysh customer websites achieve first page listings on the worlds most visited search engines.
