How did the project start?

We were approached by a charity organisation that works in the region, providing complementary therapy for those with long term or terminal illness.

What options did you consider?

The project needed to capture the essence of what Lifespan do, which is to make a positive contribution to people in difficult situations. The colours and imagery were developed to reflect this, with the overiding feeling of the site being calm and simple.

What help and expertise did you receive?

We worked closely with our clients to ensure the site reflected Lifespan's values, whilst still functioning as a site to promote their work and encourage others to give towards their cause.

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?

Developing a site for a charity of this sensitive nature meant putting aside the usual conceptions of what a website should look like, and using a simple interface to deliver the information.

What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?

Developing the Lifespan website was a chance to explore areas of business that were new to us. It also gave us the chance to be involved in a worthwhile project in the local community.

What are your plans for the future?

As Lifespan grows, the simple interface of the site can easily accommodate new content whilst maintaining a simple look and feel.
