How did the project start?
A way for Hundredth Monkey, who are a creative public relations company to have a creative, interesting and distinct on line presence, confirming their branding and animating their book 'the story of the hundredth monkey'
What options did you consider?
A fully accessible site was an option but after careful consideration of the clients needs of creativity to be projected, it became obvious a flash animated interface was needed.
What help and expertise did you receive?
edot3 worked closely with cravens advertising who devised the branding for Hundredth Monkey PR.The animation found on the hundredth button tells the story of the hundredth monkey phenomenon; we brought to life the printed book of this story page by page and worked with the designer to create the humor originally projected.
Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?
Yes, mainly in the building of the flash and the technicalities of having a hundred button interface bringing in content.
What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?
It has given us a vehicle to show our flash and animation abilities, for us to pick work up like this within our first year and given the chance to prove ourselves has been a great opportunity.
What are your plans for the future?
To make more interesting sites that stand out from the rest, giving our clients something to shout about!
