How did the project start?

With realising that a core part of my business, undertaking architectural photography commissions, was not well promoted online.

What options did you consider?

A targeted print marketing campaign was the only alternative, but this would not give the 'ongoing' promotion that I really required.

What help and expertise did you receive?

Angelfysh, who specialise in SEO work and optimisation, were commissioned to carry out the work.

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?

It was particularly difficult to optimise my site for the architectural photography work I do without negatively impacting on optimisation already in place for other aspects of my business, such as selling prints online.

What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?

The site is now very highly placed for important search phrases including 'architectural photographer newcastle' and 'architectural photographer north east'. This has raised the profile of my business.

What are your plans for the future?

To continue to monitor the website's optimisation to maintain its high ranking.
