How did the project start?

With identifying a need for a portfolio-based website to display a range of architectural photography commissions that I had undertaken over the past year.

What options did you consider?

Either the creation of an entirely new site, with new domain name, or a redevelopment of my existing e-commerce site. The latter was chosen.

What help and expertise did you receive?

The site was designed by onebestway, but with considerable input from myself.

Did you face any challenges or learn any lessons?

The biggest challenge was designing a site that looked professional, was easy to navigate and that showed off my work. Getting the balance right was difficult. It was also a challenge to design the site so that it was appropriate for the range of business sectors that are potential clients.

What are the outcomes and how has it improved your business?

I now feel that my website is the best place to point people to demonstrate my photography services, which was not the case beforehand. This has helped raise my profile, and along with SEO work has generated new enquiries and business.

What are your plans for the future?

To continue to add to the site as and when projects are complete. Also to consider ways in which my existing e-commerce site can be improved.
